MEN ARE MEN

 

Folusho was 15 when he began to have the 'MAD MALE' attributes (in this context mad male=unreachable), we grew up together and I can say he's the best of friends I have had over the years. When his mad phase began he became toxic as the days roles by, hiding his pains and misery all of which was evident in his eyes, only if he knew.  

Considering the inner world of those taught to deny them, while the hordes of psychological self-help accounts have taught us about emotional unavailability and about attachment theory as it apply to adult relationships, not many are discussing how divided along gender lines the attachment style are, in the quest of finding validation folusho lost it.

Today, many men are just as folusho is, as much as they want to be heard, the assertion that "MEN ARE MEN" is stucked to their head and thus they find validation over the statement, but on the contrary embracing them as they are, making them feel loved and wanted will bring out the best version of themselves.
